Switch

Most business practitioners understand that an ability to change their company's practices to deliver higher value to their customers is crucial nowadays. I have studied a lot of philosophies and frameworks about organizational change over the years in the university. However, most of the them are too complicated to implement in real life. Lucky, I have read a book called Switch, written by Chip & Dan Heath.

This book provides a very simple and practical framework to implement changes at individual, organizational , even social levels. Three components must be met to achieve sustainable and successful changes. These are Rational (Rider), Emotional (Elephant) and Environmental (Path). Aligning these three components in implementing changes are essential, because they reinforce each other during the change process. Details are provided in the mindmap.

If you are passionate to change things around in your company. This is the book you must have to in your bookshelf. I hope that you will enjoy this book as much as I do.
